As a Hypnotherapist while in apporaching any patient must ask :
Do I have adequate clinical training to understanding and to anticipate the probable responses from this specific patient?
Do I have an an adequate foundation in my hypnotic training to use hypnosis as an adjubctive tool in the treatment of this particular patient?
Do I have sufficient understanding about my patient's unique strengths, concerns, and motivations to utilize them within the context of hypnosis toward a therapeutic outcome?
Do I have the flexibilty andd experience to employ the responses of this specific patient in the service of the therapeutic goal?
Do I have sufficient supervision available with which to confer as I expand the boundaries of my skills and experience in the use of hypnosis as therapeutic tool?
